We basically paid $33 for Charles-Allen to do this all day at Water Country. He refused to ride any of the rides. He would say, "I not brave." Neal even tried to bribe him by buying him a water toy that he wanted, but told him he couldn't play with it until he went down one of the slides. It didn't turn out like Neal had planned. Charles-Allen threw a fit that lasted about 30 minutes. He finally realized he wasn't going to get the toy until he tried something so he just forgot about. However, all was not lost. After about 8 hours at the park he went down a few kiddie slides, got the toy, and was done. He is the most determined little boy I have ever met.

That cracked me up! Look out. I'll bet that doesn't get any better. :) But it may come in handy as a teenager, standing up to his friends. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

That's a positive way to look at it. I'll try to keep that in mind the next time we're in the middle of a fit and I want to pinch his pretty little curly head off!
