Emmy and Charles-Allen had a ball swimming in the pool. They had all the gear and had to put everything on everytime they got in. Apparently the things on their feet are called sloppers. Not sure where that name came from, but they did help Emmy beat her dad when they would race from one end of the pool to the next.

I love the sloppers!!! Don't you love stuff like that? My mom had the kiddie pool filled up a few weeks ago and Ian wore some flippers in the tiny plastic pool. You can imagine how handy that was. :) I'll bet Emmy's worked way better!
How fun that Neal raced Emmy in the pool. Some of my fondest memories with my dad are summer evenings at the community pool, where he'd give us kids "bull rides" on his back.... we'd hold on and he'd swim under water and try to buck us off. Emmy will always remember having fun racing dad, especially since she beat him. Maybe I need some sloppers so I can swim faster myself. i wouldn't look near as cute as Emmy though, so i should probably pass.
cherre i think you would be adorable in sloppers. i don't think there's a lot that wouldn't look good on you.
