Neal and the kids spent the day washing the car. If you'll notice they're all in their swim trunks. I wonder why? Maybe he knew that the chances of everyone getting soaked were good. I had sense enough to stay in the house. Unfortunately Ally wasn't so lucky.

Yeah, the only safe place is in the house...with the door locked. :) Ally does not look impressed. It's so hard being the baby!!!! So did the car get washed or just the washers?
I think a little bit of both. The car did look really good, but the kids were soaked. They even ended up washing their scooters. It was too cute.
i'm hoping to have a day to wash our cars too. caroline mentioned wanting to do it... so i think she's wanting to do what your family did: make it more fun than work. i'm afraid i'll have to be the one doing the work b/c we don't have many open saturdays when eric could be here to help. i like your idea of giving daddy some time with the kids!
It's so funny, I use to try to get Neal to do work around the house and I would say just think of all the calories you'll burn, but he wasn't impressed with my motivation. After the car wash he said, "we should do stuff like that every Saturday so we can teach the kids that working is fun and so we can get in more exercise." Wow! I wish I could have thought of that:)
