Weekly Episodes

I've decided to TRY to keep a running journal of what our family does each week.  I'm so bad at journal writing and I just can't seem to get it all done.  I saw this on someone else's blog and thought what a great idea it would be for our family and for our kids to look back on when they grow up.  So here goes.

Parker-Parker is really starting to move around.  She's finally crawling really well now and she's already trying to get up in the kitchen and hall.  She did fall down from the kitchen this week, me and my great parenting skills, I was busy cooking and wasn't paying close enough attention to her.  She is getting to be a bit of a mess because she tends to cry when I set her down in the floor and instantly stops when I pick her up.  Her daddy thinks it hurts her to sit on the floor.  I think she's rotten.

Ally-Ally's new favorite thing is to turn on Emmy's hip-hop CD and try to do her dance routine.  It's way too cute.  She told us today that's she's Uncle Cory's baby.  I think she must be Aunt Kristen's baby b/c as soon as she spotted her in church she went to sit with her and never came back.

Charles Allen-For FHE this week we each created our own picture of Lehi's Vision of the Tree of Life.  We used stickers and markers and wrote what each thing represented like the fruit represents the joy that we feel for Christ's sacrafice.  On Friday CA took his to preschool for show and tell.  When I went to pick him up his teacher, who I rarely talk to, told me how great his show and tell was.  She said he was explaining to the class what each thing represented and she was impressed with how well he knew it.  Who knew he was listening?

Emmy-My little hypochondriac has been walking around all week with a bum knee.  She did stay up half the night on Wednesday because it hurt and didn't go to school the next day.  I think she didn't want to go because she was mad she couldn't take her crutches  more so then her knee was still hurting.  So today she got to wear a bandage around her knee at church and now she's happy.

Me-A friend of mine had a sister that got married and I helped serve at the reception on Saturday.  It was a lot of fun and a lot of work, but it was so worth it.  I got to see a house I have been dieing to see for some time now.  It didn't disappoint.  I don't know where my obsession for houses came from.  And it was decorated beautifully.  It reminded me of my best friends reception almost 12 years ago at The Best House in Warsaw.

Neal-Neal is on another crazy diet.  And I do mean crazy.  He has lost nearly 25 pounds over the past 2 weeks.  Crazy I tell ya.

Tell Neal to share! And yes - I thought Ally was Kristen's for the lipstick. Cory doesn't keep lipstick on him, does he?!

What a great FHE idea. I might borrow it. :)
