Gymnastic Recital

Charles-Allen had his gymnastic recital in Smithfield a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was going to be like Emmy's dance recitals where your child is on the floor for about 2 minutes and then you spend a lot of time watching other people's kids perform, but he was on the floor performing for about 30 minutes. It was so fun watching him show us what he's learned in gymnastics this year. We were so proud of him.

I love these pictures of him flipping around. His favorite part is when he gets to flip into the foam pit.

At the end they got their awards. Way to go Charlsie!

Bowling with Preschool

We had a really busy week this past week.  One of the things we did was to go bowling with Charles-Allen's preschool.  Emmy was tracked out so she was able to go and Parker and Ally got to stay with their Aunt Melissa and play with Ethan all day.  Needless to say all four had a blast.

Emmy came in second and even rolled a strike.  Unfortunately, she rolled it on Charles-Allen's turn so he got the points.  If she had of rolled it on her turn she would have come in first place.  They both decided they would rather bowl on the Wii.  Much easier.  I totally agree.

She even got three spares. 

This was a ride at the bowling lane.  I would rather be shot than go on a ride that goes around in a circle.  Thank goodness I didn't have to.

And just to prove how busy and chaotic our week was this is how I dressed Ally to go to my parents house last week.  She has on two different colored shoes and to top it all off they are both right shoes.  I need an award.
