I was going through Emmy's homework pile this morning and I came across a Patriot's Proclamation that she had written for one of her 5th grade social studies assignments. It was so clever and true and I had to post it.
My Ammendment
-There will be no homework because of many reasons. First off: Children go to school early and come back in the afternoon to spend time with their parents, not to do more work. Secondly, They give homework on paper, which comes from trees, which we need to survive with. We need to save the planet not kill it with useless homework.
That kid cracks me up and I'm pretty sure she has some good points.
