Memorial Day weekend was a big celebration for our family. Neal's dad was born on Memorial Day and when he was alive he loved going to the Kinston Indian's baseball games. So for Memorial Day weekend we all went to the opening Kinston Indian's ball game in honor of Grandy. All of Neal's brothers and sisters were there. Even his sister that lives in Louisiana. We had a great time and after the game we went to Grandma's house and had a birthday party for Grandy. Then on Saturday we visited his grave and picked him "flowers" and sang some songs to him. It was very touching and our kids love visiting his grave.
We were all going to the beach afterwards. Emmy and Charles-Allen are hunting for the best flowers.
