Ally in the Mud...

...or I should say Ally out of the mud.  She is trying to figure out what these crazy kids are doing in the dirty mud.
She is so prissy. She's just walking around checking things out.
Here she actually stepped in a mud hole, trying to see what all the excitement was about. She clearly wasn't impressed

Nothing to Do With That

Ally wanted nothing to do with the goings on over in the mud with the big kids. She's too much of a princess to play in the mud
They keep trying to talk her into it, but she's not hav'n any.
She thinks they must be crazy.

Emmy and Elise

All during Charles-Allen's recital I had to keep these girls off the equipment. So finally, after everything was over I let them play on the bars. They loved it.
Don't you love their matching outfits? When they were toddlers they would tell people they were twins.
Too cute.

Parker

We were at Charles-Allen's gymnastics recital the other night and I got some cute pics of Parker. Why oh why won't she leave that hair bow in?
I don't think she is enjoying her sister's attention. I'm sure Ally doesn't care.

Tending the Garden

Our little garden is growing. Lovey is our farm girl. She loves the garden and it's a wonder anything will grow because she can't master the concept of not walking inside the walls.
I don't know who is worse, the birds or Ally, they both are always eating our strawberries. They can't be good because they're not ripe, but it doesn't seem to bother Ally.
I can't even imagine what she does in there all the time.

Baby Birds

Our blue birds have finally hatched. They are so ugly they're cute. Usually when I open the top they have their mouths wide open hoping for their mama and some food, but I guess they had just eaten and were too tired.
It's amazing how something so ugly will grow into something so beautiful.

Now this baby has always been beautiful. And her mouth is also usually open, hoping for her mama to feed her too. But now she's too tired. I do love a sleeping baby.

New Members of the Family

We recently acquired two new cats. Emmy and her daddy were out taking pictures of houses for work and they saw a sign that said free cats. When we went to pick them up we ended up with the last two.
There names are Booth (from the TV show Bones, which I love) and Stripes.
We aren't real big cat fans, but we are fans of a.) keeping our kids entertained and b.) anything that will hunt and kill rats and snakes. Big Fans!
I think Emmy is missing the fact that I'm taking a picture of her cat, not her so much. She's posing it up:)

Charles-Allen's cat already seems to have a good healthy fear of him. I wonder how he figured that one out already?
